2 questiosn. tires and air tools

Ok, I plan on putting new tires on my HX wheels for the track in the future. There 14s (think all hx wheels are), but was wondering what size tires would be best.

2nd question, I've got a Snap-On impact gun. Looks pretty old, but Snap-on is quality goods i hear. Anyways, my dad picked up this huge air tank, but I can't seem to get any power from the thing. I can't even get lug nuts off with it. Whats the deal, how can I make a nice little setup and maybe possibly get crank pulley bolts off myself.

not sure about tires. i curently have 14 inch 195/60 some people say they will rub I tryed them and crank to crank they dident touch but that wasent cornering.

the airgun have you tryed turning the gun up most have a power knob. how many pounds of presure are you puting in the tank? and how good is your pump?
